Be Brave, Feel!

bebrave2.jpg

People are often uncomfortable feeling certain feelings. We are afraid of a relationship, but don’t want to feel fear. We feel guilty about our parenting but don’t want to feel guilt.
We expend a lot of effort resisting feeling.
We may want to reconsider.
Every emotion has a certain life to it. When we bravely welcome it and feel it, it moves through us and passes. When we resist it, it remains stuck, wanting to express itself, but not able to and instead becoming this terrible feeling we call anxiety.
